My newest addiction!

I am in love with this Thai Chicken pizza from Papa Murphy's.  I love it so much that I took a picture and made a blog post, now that is love!

Coach Pitch Baseball

Carter played coach pitch baseball this year. He did well and ALWAYS slide into home base. He was always able to hit the ball and liked to play catcher. An especially fun game, was when he was playing shortstop and caught a fly ball, which gave the other team their third out. At this age, they keep playing through the line up, but it was still a cool catch.

Mess and Redemption

Aleeya cannot be left unsupervised! I guess that showering is not allowed for moms.
Serena started cleaning it up without anyone asking her. She is my only child that naturally sees a mess and starts helping.

Kindergarten Field Trip

Carter went on his first Kindergarten Field Trip. He rode on a school bus for the first time and even though he thought it was no big deal-I did! They went to the Ogden Nature Center and learned about tracking animals and snowshoeing.
Of course, we have had the coldest weather EVER! So here is a picture of all that Carter wore. He said he was so warm that he was sweating!

Three shirts, two pair heavy socks, three pants, hoodie sweatshirt, snowpants, hat, two pair gloves, coat and boots.

Potato Head Mania!

So funny! Aleeya wore these glasses around forever!
Carter showing off his master piece.
Kody and Kim gave the kids Potato Head sets last year for Christmas, Carter got out the bag and told me that I needed a break and that they were going to play with them and be good. I sure can't argue with that! They had such a good time and made some cute creations.

Get your pajamas on!

This is after I told the kids to get ready for bed. Carter thinks he is so funny, depending on the day, I think he is pretty funny also!

It never gets old!

I love taking pictures of my kids pretending to be dogs or animals. I just love the creative play. Can I count that as Carter's dinner?

Future Artists of America

Serena created a lovely palate of stripes of every color. Carter made a heart with his face inside for his Kindergarten Teacher, Mrs. Susana. I am pretty sure he loves her! He makes her a picture several times a week.

Take my picture!

Serena just randomly went and stood by this table set at Target and said, "Take my picture." So I did.

Souvenirs from McBride's

The McBride's were able to go on a Make-A-Wish trip to Disney World. They brought back gifts for the kids. Carter (with the help of Jackson) covered both of his arms with tattoos. Serena wouldn't pose, but she loves coloring in her Tinkerbell coloring book. Aleeya has now added her "sunshine" to the stuffed things she sleeps with, she now needs; her cow, frog and sunshine.

I made these! (the craft, but I guess the kids also)

I did a craft project! Carrie convinced me to sign-up for this class to make the wooden HOME letters and the "O's" that you put in for each holiday.
This was only possible because she was willing to help me make them.

The class was in Logan at The Book Table. Taylor was out of town so it was a bonus to be able to come to Logan for a few days. My mom watched the kids while I went to the class.

This the ledge that I decorate for each holiday, so the HOME letters will be a nice touch to add.

Chuck E. Cheese Field Trip

Chuck E. Cheese is one of our favorite field trips. I use a coupon to buy tokens and they last us for about three visits. Since we have gone 4-5 times I am losing interest in pictures, so here you have it, the only one.

I did take a video of Carter dancing, but they take forever to upload, so just visualize :).

Ogden Christmas Villages

We went to the Tree House Museum to play today. When we pulled into the parking lot and started to unload I realized that Serena did not have on shoes and socks. So we went to a nearby Dollar Tree and bought her new ones. I figured that was better than driving back home.

On our way to the store we passed by the Ogden Christmas displays and the kids wanted to stop. After the museum we stopped for a few minutes, but since I hadn't brought coats (great day for preparedness) we didn't stay long.

After-School Choir Popcorn Party

Carter participated in an After-School choir at NDPA. I was the choir pianist and I swapped babysitting with Lynette Curtin so that the girls played with her while I was gone on Monday afternoons.

After the Christmas performance the kids had a popcorn and movie party.

My Heart Overfloweth!

We had such a calm, loving day yesterday that I wanted to remember it. We did nothing special, but everyone must have had good sleep, full tummies and mom's hormones were aligned, because we all were calm.

We had fun reading books and playing with toys and then during quiet time we all watched Glee and the kids lip-synced and danced(actually not too much of a quiet time). None of this is unusual, but the kids were so cute with each other and I just didn't feel the need to run and do housework or R.S. things etc.

Then Taylor called and surprised me and said he was bringing home dinner, so I didn't have to cook! I went and did an R.S. visit and then went to book club so I had a nice evening to myself. Taylor had two out of three asleep when I got home. That is pretty much how every night is, since Serena is a night owl. At this point, she just plays in her room for at least an hour and a half after the others are asleep.

I am grateful for my kids, my husband and my blessed life.
