Celebrating Uncle David's Birthday

We gathered in Logan to celebrate Dave's birthday. Notice in the pictures how helpful Serena is with present opening.

Pretty pleased with herself, she will always open a present, any present!

"Grease" at the Tuachan

Taylor and I went and saw "Grease" at the Tuachan. The kids were able to participate in an on-site Kids Care program. Carter did not enjoy it because he was the oldest and it was for younger children. They did a great job with the show and Carter could have come, but with "Grease" I didn't know if the content would be appropriate for him.

Miniature Golfing in St. George

We went miniature golfing as part of our St. George fun. This was after Taylor and Carter had spent the morning on a real golf course. Aleeya is best at picking up the ball and putting it in the hole, who needs golf clubs!

Little Mermaid at the Tuachan

We took our annual trip to St. George and the Tuachan. The first night we saw "The Little Mermaid." It was really good and the kids did well watching.
Serena is the only one who would take pictures with the characters (same as in Disneyland).

McBride's Theater Performance

Jackson and Julie McBride participate in a theater camp during the summer and we went to see their performance. Carter loved it and wanted to go again the next night. He is looking forward to joining next year when he is old enough.

Ballon Volleyball at the Smith's

We enjoyed a neighborhood BBQ at the home of Steve and Jamie Smith. One of the fun events was a ballon volleyball game.
That is a serious action shot!

Together in Harmony Music Camp

Serena participated in a music camp and they learned patriotic songs to sing in the parade. They rode on a trailer and sang. She went with Dad to the starting point and then he joined us on the parade route.
Waving a flag. She loved being in her "july herade."

Layton Fourth of July Parade

We celebrated the Fourth of July by attending the Layton Parade. Serena was on a float with her music camp group, so family from both sides came to enjoy the fun. Granny Dearden, Grandpa Dearden, Aunt Staci and Aleeya.

Aleeya, Great Grandma Olsen, Grandma Hoppie

My Birthday Celebration

Following the parade we had lunch and presents at our house to celebrate my birthday.

Hugs from beautiful girls are the best presents. From Mom, I got a picture of the Sacred Grove for the piano room and a spring wreath for the front door.

Swimming with McBrides

Serena got more brave everytime we went swimming.Carter is a pro and without his jacket he can kick and "swim" in the pool.
Aleeya and Camry had a great time jumping into Jenni's arms. Check out Serena's swimsuit, it had a serious creaping problem!
We love our Jenni. It was so nice for me to just sit in the shade and the kids played and played and played!
