House in the woods

 The kids created this hut with their friends.  It was fun listening to the story they created.  They had run to live in this house in the woods after their parents had been eaten by bears.

 Then the story evoloved and they could fly like bats.

Serena St. Patrick's Day

 It is so fun to see Spencer getting mobile.  He gets up on his toes and launches himself forward.

 Mom says that I was crawling at 5 1/2 months, so I guess I can't complain that he is growing up too fast.

Aleeya cannot have scissors!

Twice in a week's span Aleeya cut her hair.  First, she and Hailey cut their hair at Lynette's.  I thought I had made it clear that this was not a good idea.  A few days later I was feeding Spencer on the couch in the piano room and I heard the chair being pushed across the kitchen.  I called Serena and she came around the corner with scissors.  I told both of them to stop and put the scissors down.  In the time it took to put Spencer down and get to the kitchen, this was what Aleeya had done.

NDPA Spirit Week

NDPA Spirit Week had a dress-up theme for each day.  This is "fake an injury day." 

Jr. Jazz Basketball Game

 Carter is number 5.  The practices and games rotated between two elementary school gyms. 

Mommy Gym

 I love watching the girls run and dance at mommy gym.  It is even better when I get in there and burn some calories also!  We did cheerleading today and then created some other games.

 Serena was so cute with her dress-ups today!  She wore the Red Riding Hood outfit all over the museum.

There is hope!

I have been attempting to make our FHE nights more than just say a prayer and have a treat nights.  It has been frustrating and I fear that my children have no attention span.  This night Carter said he was going to do the lesson.  He got dressed up and used the Book of Mormon and took it so seriously.  It was a beautiful moment. 

50,000 Reading Hours

NDPA did a reading challenge for the months of January and February.  Each student needed to read 20 minutes a night to contribute to the goal of 50,000 hours.  The students that reached their individual goals got these bracelets.  The bracelet was good for a special party at the Classic Fun Center.
