Couples Retreat

Taylor and I got together with a group of friends for a night away. The McBride's stayed at our house with the kids. This was the first time I was away overnight from all three kids. Jenni did a great job of sending me updates and they were all asleep by 8:30 p.m.

We all met at the Ogden Temple and did sealings. I was a great way to start the night. Then we went to The Pizza Factory for dinner.

After dinner we went a beautiful cabin courtesy of Jamie. The house was so beautiful that I took pictures of all the rooms.

We played the Newlywed game and it was fun to see how everyone answered. Taylor and Steve switched pages and answered for each other and it took Jamie and I forever to even notice. It wasn't until the question about who was your first date that we figured it out.

Things got crazy with a game of Charades and then John and Jamie got into a dance off and Jamie was doing back flips all over the place. All this and no alcohol involved.

Easter Egg Hunt

We planned an Easter Egg Hunt with friends, but the weather was rainy and windy, so we did the hunt in the church.

Carter is moving so fast he is a blur!

Serena looking for eggs.

We had the kids go in different groups, by age. These children are waiting for their turn.

Aleeya finding an egg. She wasn't to sure what the process was, but she caught on.

I am trying to convince her to put the egg in her basket and keeping looking.

April Fool's Day

This is the first year that Carter really understood that April Fool's Day was fun. He told funny stories and then would say it was a joke. This extended well beyond April 01.

April Fool's Day is the perfect day to have cupcakes for dinner! Our friend, Jamie made these beautiful cupcakes for us to enjoy. The kids were surprised to find that they were meatloaf inside with colored mashed potatoes on top!

Boondocks!

Aleeya has no fear, she keeps up with her siblings!

I wish we had this at home, they are all contained!
