Wickedly Wonderfully World of Oz/Aladdin

Julie was in a musical production put on by the music camp that she attended during the summer. She was so good at singing and dancing and had great stage presence. Despite Carter's face he enjoyed the show and sat well.

Bathtub fun!

The kids love playing in the "swimming pool" bathtub in our bathroom. If I am willing to deal with the water everywhere they will play in there for an hour.

Swimming at Roy Pool!

A favorite summer field trip is Roy Pool. For safety and sanity reasons I took a babysitter, Monica Phair, with us. The kids had a great time.
Aleeya is crazy in the water, she has no fear and goes on all of the slides and plays non-stop.

Yogurt facial.

Sandbox Fun!

I think we found buried treasure-Carter!

I am impressed that Serena lay still long enough to get covered!

Carter lost his first tooth!

Carter lost his first tooth. He has been wiggling it and he just told me to pull it. I was surprised he wanted me to pull, but it came out easily. A few days later he lost his second. Both are gone from his bottom front.

Sadly, his permanent teeth are growing in sideways and behind the baby teeth that are still there. I think he might have teeth like mine. I had braces for three years and about every other thing the orthodontist could think to put in or on my mouth!

Prepared for Winter!

The kids decided to get out the winter clothes and dress warm, because you never know when a winter storm might hit-in July!

Backyard Tent

We have been blessed to spend the summer playing with two great families: McBrides and Phairs. The kids created these great tents and playhouses with blankets and clothespins.

Helping mom open her birthday presents!

Aleeya is so stylin'!

She just looks so cute, I had to get a picture! This may have been the start of her swimming gear fetish. She wants to wear her swimsuit everyday! Most of the time I let her and then just put clothes on over it if we go somewhere.

Fireworks!

We gathered with friends to watch the Fourth of July fireworks. The girls were already asleep, so Carter and I went to watch and Taylor stayed home.

Fourth of July Parade

Fourth of July Parade in Layton. We sat by the North Park friends and shared doughnuts.

Candy, Candy, Candy!
Such a cute family!
