Woodward Park Sledding

 We got a good amount of snow in Layton, so I was excited to go sledding for our fieldtrip.

 It was cold and the snow wasn't packed, so they didn't slide far.  Aleeya was not a huge fan.

 Serena, my snow girl, had a great time making fresh tracks.  We didn't last long, but we tried!

Ogden Christmas Villages

 Ogden City has a great display of Christmas Villages.  I am sure it is delightful in the evening, but we have always visited in the daylight. We went with the Curtin's and they showed us a part that we have always missed.  It made the trip that much better! 

Spencer was with us also, but I didn't catch any pictures of him in the stroller.

Boondocks

 We visited the Gardner Village witch-a-palooza with our neighbors, the Richins.

Hayden doesn't enjoy that Serena and Aleeya call him their boyfriend, but that hand on the knee is darling!

 We love going to the Riverdale Splash pad.  I, however, must not love taking pictures there because this is all I've got!

Summer Movies

We love going to the Summer movies.  10 movies for $5.00.  You can't beat the price or the joy of sitting in air conditioning for two hours.  This picture is dark, but we have taken Savannah Fernald with us each week and though she buys a ticket, she and Aleeya always share a chair.

Riverdale Splash Pad

 We went to the Riverdale Splash Pad.  Great field trip, shade to sit in and free fun for the kids.  They played on the playground more than in the water.

Spencer wasn't loving it, so I lost interest and didn't take any other pictures!  Guess we will just have to go again!

Lagoon

 Our once a year trip to Lagoon, on Stake Lagoon Day.  The area that my children like, with the small rides was not busy and we spent eight fun filled hours.  We saw both of the music shows and watched the evening performance twice.

 Jenni and Julie joined us for the fun in the evening.

 Bulgy, the whale, still a family favorite.  Aleeya went on some of the bigger rides with Jenni, but the others are like me and prefer low key rides.

Church History Museum

The Church History Museum in Salt Lake has a children's interactive area.  They have Book of Mormon scenes, but most of the activities are based on working and playing in the Latino culture.

 Tortilla Toss

 They have awesome dress-ups and a mirror and video screen that teaches you how to do dances.  Serena did a great job of following and I have a video of her dancing.

 Spencer loved the mirror, he had such a good looking boy to play with!

 They had a big ship with the story of Nephi.  We visited the museum with the Curtin and Kelsey families.  Aleeya was singing a great ship song, Yankee Doodle.
