Serena participated in a music camp and they learned patriotic songs to sing in the parade. They rode on a trailer and sang. She went with Dad to the starting point and then he joined us on the parade route. Waving a flag. She loved being in her "july herade."
We celebrated the Fourth of July by attending the Layton Parade. Serena was on a float with her music camp group, so family from both sides came to enjoy the fun. Granny Dearden, Grandpa Dearden, Aunt Staci and Aleeya.
Following the parade we had lunch and presents at our house to celebrate my birthday.
Hugs from beautiful girls are the best presents. From Mom, I got a picture of the Sacred Grove for the piano room and a spring wreath for the front door.
Serena got more brave everytime we went swimming.Carter is a pro and without his jacket he can kick and "swim" in the pool. Aleeya and Camry had a great time jumping into Jenni's arms. Check out Serena's swimsuit, it had a serious creaping problem! We love our Jenni. It was so nice for me to just sit in the shade and the kids played and played and played!
