Aleeya is so stylin'!

She just looks so cute, I had to get a picture! This may have been the start of her swimming gear fetish. She wants to wear her swimsuit everyday! Most of the time I let her and then just put clothes on over it if we go somewhere.

Fireworks!

We gathered with friends to watch the Fourth of July fireworks. The girls were already asleep, so Carter and I went to watch and Taylor stayed home.

Fourth of July Parade in Kaysville

We joined the McBride family for the Kaysville Fourth of July parade. I love parades and the kids learned quickly the art of getting candy. We left the parade early to go to a baptism of the son of a friend of Taylor's. I spent most of the time in the hall with the girls, but that is typical with young children!

The fine picture quality for my posts from June and July can be attributed to the fact that I used a 35 mm FILM camera. Yep, I am pretty sure they laughed when I went to get it developed. I keep planning on researching and buying a camera, but it is so on the low end of my list of things to do!

Family Birthday Party for Carter and Serena

Family Birthday Party

We made Serena's special birthday cake for the family party. This was my first attempt at decorating, so I am glad the picture quality is poor, I can just pretend it was perfect!
So many presents, so little time!

Carter's Birthday Cakes

Carter wanted two cakes so he didn't have to limit his love of sports to one game. We had a BBQ for his birthday dinner with the Phairs, McBrides and Pryors
